Watch What Happened When CNN Asks Former Obama Official What He Thinks of Trump’s National Security Team

We’ve seen some of this already and I believe we’ll see more of this as yet another former Obama spokesman, John Kirby, steps forward while appearing on CNN’s “New Day” to praise President Donald Trump and his national security team saying that they’re doing a “commendable job” forming an international coalition to deal with North Korea.

“I think his national security team has done a commendable job trying to put together a multilateral, international, interagency approach to solving this problem,” Kirby said.

Though he’s no fan of President Trump’s anti-left behavior, believing that it could be undone though he does go on to state that he also believes that the POTUS has every right to be frustrated with the Liberal Left especially due to the escalating situation with North Korea and in this manner no other President has had to deal with them in this fashion.

“It is all rendered harder for them when he goes off and pops the way he did at the golf course the other day about fire and fury,” Kirby said. “That undermines the very good effort that this team has actually put forward.”

“I don’t begrudge the president for bemoaning the situation that he has found himself in, and what he has inherited,” Kirby said. “He’s right, this is much more dangerous than any other president before him has had to deal with.”

As has been previously reported, there’s an international coalition under way to stand up to North Korea but it was no easy feat. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley stated that some “arms had to he twisted” to get China and North Korea on board.

“The international community is standing with one voice. China didn’t pull off. Russia didn’t pull off. And all of the Security Council and the international community said that’s enough,” Haley said to Fox News’ Dana Perino Monday evening. She explained that North Korea’s repeated provocations are trying the patience of the international community. “It’s reckless. It’s irresponsible. And the international community really laid down the groundwork of saying we’re not going to watch you do this anymore.”
